If you think the new Skyshield looks intimidating now, wait until it starts firing

Developed by Switzerland’s Oerlikon Contraves Air Defense, the Skyshield is a modular short range air defense (SHORAD) system built to rapidly track and destroy threats from the sky.

Skyshield can be deployed from trucks, trains, or other mobile platforms. Using a combination of radar and laser tracking systems, these guns can be networked together providing point or area defense.

Its 35mm turret is very similar to what is currently mounted on many modern tanks. The rounds explode to create a shrapnel cloud capable of destroying small drones.
