Sharpshooter puts four on target over 2.5 miles away, sets new world record

The good folks at Hill County Rifles are back with another long range shot that’s one for the record books.

At a distance of 4549 yards, their longest shot yet, they land 4 shots with an Extreme Long Range Tactical 375 Cheytac loaded with custom Bertram brass using Warner Tool Flatline 361 grain projectiles.

From more than 2.5 miles away, the 8’x8′ board with a 45″ bullseye is virtually invisible with the naked eye. Using a Nightforce ATACR 5-25×56 optic, the precision shooter was able to barely see what he was shooting. Using wind and elevations data collected his shooting team, Jim had everything he needed to set a new record.
