A Gun Silencer, or suppressor, is a device for reducing noise emissions in firearms in the area of ​​weapon technology. Silencers are mainly used in special units of the military or police as well as for hunting in inhabited areas, for example city ​​hunters.

Silencers can be screwed onto the end of a barrel fitted with a corresponding thread or fixed to the weapon. They are an integral part of the MP5 SD or the AWS. But do you know how they work to reduce the sound coming out of the gun?
