Meet Lauren Young, the Army veteran turned Instagram star who thinks guns are sexy.

Young served in the 485th Military Police Company from 2011 to 2012 while deployed in Afghanistan.

Now she’s a college student at the University of Nevada-Reno studying pre-law and psychology.

Raised in a gun-free home, Young found her favorite hobby after serving in the military. In an interview with Maxim she said “If I could pick ANY weapon right now to buy, it would probably be a SCAR 17 suppressed with an attached grenade launcher. But that’s dreaming big!”

For those keyboard warriors who see her modeling gigs and as “yeah, but can she shoot?” Young also includes a few videos of herself on the range. She prefers distance shooting to pistol drills and favors .50 cal and .338 Lapua.
