Submachine Gun Madness: CZ “Skorpion” VZ-61 FULL AUTO

The Skorpion vz. 61 is a Czechoslovakian submachine gun developed in the 1960s by Miroslav Rybář and produced under the official name Samopal vzor 61 (Model 1961 sub-machine gun) by the Česká Zbrojovka weapons factory in Uherský Brod. Although developed for use by security forces, the submachine gun was also accepted to serve in the Czechoslovak Army as an auxiliary weapon for NCOs, vehicle drivers, armored vehicle crews and Special Forces.

The production rights of the submachine gun were also bought by the Yugoslav arms factory Crvena Zastava (now Armas Zastava), who manufactured this weapon during the 80s as the M84. His pistol grip is plastic compared to the original version (he has also produced a semi-automatic civil version, known as M84A and available in 9 mm caliber).
