FDA approves device that can stop gunshot wound bleeding in 15 seconds

A new revolutionary way of stopping a bleeding from a gunshot was approved by the FDA. Tomo News US on their YouTube channel presented us with a video of the new XSTAT Rapid Hemostasis System that is able to stop bleeding from open gunshot wound in just 15 seconds. This device has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. Check out the video to see how this device works in action.

In 2014 the XSTAT Rapid Hemostasis System has been approved for use in the battlefield and is already in use of the US army. The FDA director William Maisel states that this is one revolutionary system that is perfect for usage on trauma scenes when in need of fast reaction.
