With a three-shot MOA assurance out of the box, Big Green’s latest rifle blends an aluminum alloy chassis and a sheaf of upgrades with the Model 700 action.
Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Winchester and .260 Remington, the new Model 700 Precision Chassis Rifle takes advantage of the “rigidity and atmospheric immunity” of a custom aluminum chassis to create a stable platform to contribute to long-range accuracy. User-configurable, the PCR is compatible with AR-style stocks and grips and comes standard with an adjustable Magpul PRS Gen 3 stock and pistol grip in conjunction with a magazine well that accommodates Magpul’s AICS detachable mags.
The action includes an oversized tactical bolt knob and Remington’s X-Mark Pro adjustable trigger while the threaded 24-inch barrel uses 5R rifling. As for the group size guarantee, it’s billed as being verified by a Computer Aided Targeting System at the factory. The rifle includes both a Pic rail for optics as well as a free-floated aluminum handguard which is set up for SquareDrop and KeyMod rather than the arguably more popular M-Lok.
Weight is 10.5-pounds and MSRP is $1,199.
