Drone Discovers Sleeping Soldiers, Tanks Unleash Hell

An HTS rebel drone scouts out a regime platoon of sleeping soldiers in a farmhouse west of Aleppo. The remote multi-rotor helicopter gets close enough to gather exceptional intelligence on the enemy before flying back to a safe distance and observe a main battle tank send accurate rounds into the compound.

The video ends with some of the soldiers attempting to retreat as the insurgents take pot shots at them.

The rebel group responsible for the footage is the newly coalesced Hay’at Tahrir ash-Sham (HTS), which is now one of the largest and best equipped rebel groups operating in Syria.

The group is a merger of Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (formerly al-Qaeda’s al-Nusra Front), Ansar al-Din Front, Jaysh al-Sunna, Liwa al-Haqq, and the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement.

The group is classified as a terror organization by the US. The insurgent army is led by Hashem al-Sheikh, AKA Abu Jaber, the defected leader of the rival Ahrar al-Sham movement.
